Retail Trend Tour
Each year, Anheuser-Busch InBev’s premium beer brand Hertog Jan organises an engagement day for their most important business relations, maintained as a customer club.
Brief
Create a get-together for 250 B2B customers gathering as “Friends of Hertog Jan” in a way they can relax and at the same time be soft-educated in retail design trends. The idea is to get them inspirated for changes of their own enterprises and attract mor clients. Let them choose the three best colleagues.
Implementation
DAILY BREAD Amsterdam did develop created a mobile event concept that started as a classic face-to-face seminar, and changed in an exciting Retail Inspiration Tour. The friends of Hertog Jan were formed in groups and sent out to different cities were they would be guided along examples of outstanding retail concepts and exceptional interior designs.
Realtime Data Analytics
To collect the groups’ feedback, prepared event tablets were used with an interactive survey app, enabling real time polling, commenting and picture sending. The feedback has been data was transferred to an experts panel via a protected data-exchange hub. The panel so had time to analyse all feedback and to prepare for a discussion in an after-tour plenary setting.
The night after the event a selecton of the collected data was posted online so the business owners could start right away with improvements of the retail experience they present to their customers.
The impressive amount of high quality user-generated data could be used by the client to optimise customer relation management.
Software
Handmade software has been created to collect and exchange date on the fly, to analyse it, show results in nice visuals and have all data safed and stored at client’s servers – 100 % free of datasharing with unknown third parties.
